A cloudy evening with outbreaks of rain becoming persistent and occasionally heavy, especially across Lochaber and Skye. Clearer conditions with showers spread east overnight. Windy with southerly gales easing later. Minimum Temperature 3 °C.
Saturday:
A bright day with sunny spells and occasional showers. The showers most frequent in the west with the best of the sunshine towards Wick and Inverness. Occasionally fresh westerly winds. Maximum Temperature 12 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Rather cloudy with outbreaks of rain, the rain heavy and persistent at times in the west with the best of any sunny spells in the east. Occasionally strong southwesterly winds.
Regional forecast for Grampian
Tonight:
A cloudy evening with outbreaks of mostly light rain, the rain turning more persistent and occasionally heavy overnight. Drier conditions reach Moray later. Strong southerly winds with gales around the coasts and over high ground. Minimum Temperature 4 °C.
Saturday:
Cloud and rain over eastern Aberdeenshire soon clears and winds turn westerly and ease, to leave a bright day with sunny spells and just a few showers. Maximum Temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Dry and cold start Sunday but cloud and rain spreading east. Mostly cloudy on Monday and very mild with some rain in the west. Dry and bright on Tuesday. Breezy.
