A 28-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged serious assault in Aberdeen.
The incident is claimed to have happened at about 6.30pm on Monday in the Provost Watt Drive area of the city.
A 23-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for injuries.
Sergeant Ross Geddes of the police’s alcohol and violence reduction unit said: “We are grateful to members of the public who have assisted while inquiries have been carried out.”
