Scottish Fire and Rescue were scrambled to Aberdeen Airport this morning to deal with a fire in the departure lounge.
Teams from North Anderson Drive and Dyce were called to the scene at 5.25am.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We are attending a small fire at the airport, in the main terminal building in the departure lounge.”
A spokesperson for the airport said that there was no fire and only reports of a ‘smell’ prompted the call to the fire service.
