UPDATE: The road was re-opened just before 9.30pm.
A main Inverness road has been closed by a road accident involving a bicycle, a van and a car.
Police said Sir Walter Scott Drive is currently closed and an ambulance is in attendance.
Police confirmed that the road is still closed but the incident is not thought to be serious.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said they had sent one crew from the city to the scene.
Firefighters assisted paramedics and helped to make the scene safe.
The incident happened about 5.45pm on the busy route.
Police have yet to confirm whether anyone has been injured.
