The incident happened at around 8.40am. Police attended, and said no one was injured. Long tailbacks quickly built up, with BEAR Scotland drafted in to manage the traffic. A spokesperson for BEAR Scotland said: “Our teams helped to clear the incident and safely manage traffic past the area. “Some oil was noted on the road surface so one of our gritters attended to help clear-up and make the road safe for motorists. “The road was fully opened by 10.10am once considered safe to do so.” Meanwhile in Inverness a Nissan Micra and No 1 bus were in collision in the area of Balloan Road and Evan Barron Road at 7.41 this morning. Police said no one was injured and the drivers exchanged details.
