Police are warning motorists of debris covering a Banff road after a lorry over turned this morning.
The incident happened at around 8am this morning whereby a lorry overturned on the A947 south of King Edward.

A police spokeswoman said: “A lorry overturned this morning on the A947 resulting in debris covering the road.
“The driver is uninjured.”
Northbound lane of A947 (Aberdeen to Banff road) is blocked near to King Edward due to glass on road following an overturned lorry (Driver uninjured). Road expected to be cleared soon. Drivers to be aware of delays in the meantime. #ABZTravel

Aberdeenshire council is clearing the road whilst a recovery vehicle overturns the lorry.
The A947 will be shut for the rest of the day to allow the lorry to be safely removed.
