Dons face all-British tie in Europa League

Aberdeen face an all-British second qualifying round in the Europa League after being drawn against English Premiership side Burnley.

The Dons will be at at home in the first leg at on July 26 with the second leg taking place at Turf Moor on August 2.

The Dons were placed in Group 1 of the draw which meant they could have faced Birkirkara, Klaksvik or Zalgiris Vilinius, Atalanta, AZ Alkmaar, Glenavon or Molde but it is Sean Dyche’s side who will face

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers will face either Petrocub of Moldova or NK Osijek of Croatia in the second qualifying round if they can get past FK Shkupi in the first round.

The former Liverpool and England skipper will take his first steps in senior management when Gers host the Macedonian minnows at Ibrox on July 12.

Shkupi, based in the capital Skopje, finished fourth in last season’s Macedonian First League as they qualified for Europe for the first time.
