The Dons have swooped to sign a former Pittodrie youth academy player from fellow title-challengers Celtic.
Chris Antoniazzi, 16, has signed a professional contract with Aberdeen.
The Scotland youth international will join Paul Sheerin’s U20 squad this season and plays best in an attacking midfield.
After signing Chris, Paul Sheerin said: “We are all looking forward to welcoming Chris to the squad tomorrow.
“As he played before with a number of the boys in the Youth Academy, such as Seb Ross and Joe MacPherson, I am sure he will settle in very quickly and hit the ground running.
“Chris is an exciting prospect.”
