Ross County striker Billy Mckay has signed a new two-year deal with the Staggies.
Former Caley Thistle forward Mckay finished the Staggies’ Championship winning campaign as leading scorer with an impressive 20 goals in 34 appearances, in a double-winning season which also saw County win the IRN-BRU Cup.
Mckay’s campaign was cut short in February however, with the attacker breaking his arm as he landed when netting the winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Ayr United at Victoria Park.
The 30-year-old’s decision to remain at Dingwall completes the Staggies’ renegotiations with their title-winning squad.
County co-manager Steven Ferguson said: “We are delighted to secure Billy’s services. He is a proven goal scorer and on the back of 20 goals last season we feel he will be an important part of our journey in the Premier League.”
