One person is believed to be seriously injured following a collision on a north-east road.
The incident, that involved a car, happened on the A90 between St. Fergus and Peterhead at around 6.30am this morning.
A spokesman said: ” We received a call about the crash about 6.30am.
“One person is being treated by on site ambulance services.
Regarding the RTC on #Peterhead to St Fergus road, vehicles are now being diverted along Peterhead bypass and at Cortes junction. Please try to avoid the area if you can pic.twitter.com/IT1DxlvMCp

“Police units are still on site and the road is currently blocked.”
Traffic travelling on the A90 have been diverted through St Fergus village.
