Search launched to find missing 16-year-old boy

Police are appealing for information following the disappearance of a 16-year-old boy from Aberdeen.

Liam Smith was last seen on Queens Road in Aberdeen at 12pm on Saturday.

The teenager is white, 6ft 4in, and has short brown hair.

He is slim and was wearing a dark top, blue jeans and Nike Air Max trainers while also carrying a North Face bag.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact 101.
