A 46-year-old woman from Lerwick has been reported missing.
Police and Shetland Coastguard are trying to locate Sharon O’Neill who was last seen in the Shetland town on Sunday.
She was reported to have been near the NorthLink ferry terminal on Holmsgarth Road at around 5.30pm that day.
She has been described as 5ft 5ins with light brown hair.
When last seen, Ms O’Neill was wearing jeans and a black coat. She is said to also have glasses.
Officers are now asking anyone who may have further information about her whereabouts to get in touch.
Coastguard teams from Lerwick and Sumburgh have recommenced the search operation in an effort to trace Ms O’Neill.
Inspector Sam Greshon, from Lerwick police station, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Sharon and we would appeal to anyone who knows where she is to contact police on 101, quoting 0788 of Monday, November 14.”
