Dutch beauty brand Rituals is opening its first standalone store in Aberdeen tomorrow.

Rituals Cosmetics, founded in Amsterdam in 2000, focus on sustainable beauty and wellbeing products such as skincare and home fragrances.

The chain had previously been in Debenhams, and are now looking forward to welcoming customers back to their all-new shop in Union Square.

Penny Grivea, managing director for UK & Ireland at Rituals, said: “We are so excited to be opening this standalone store in Union Square in Aberdeen, expanding the Rituals interactive experience in the UK.

“Living during these ever-changing, fast-paced times, we understand more than ever the need for creating moments of joy and feeling balanced during our everyday life.

“The new Rituals store will help customers to achieve a sense of wellbeing by finding the perfect products that will help them to balance the body, mind and soul.”

‘Resonate with customers’

Ryan Manson, general manager at Union Square, believes with the festive period on the horizon, this is the perfect time for Rituals to open their store in Aberdeen.

He said: “We’re gearing up for our busiest period with Christmas fast approaching and Rituals is just the type of brand which will resonate with our customers, particularly those wanting to purchase beauty and wellbeing gifts for family and friends.”

To celebrate the opening in Aberdeen, Rituals are offering the first 50 store guests a luxury goody bag.
