The Flying Scotsman has overcome a turbulent time to make an appearance in Aberdeen.

Enthusiasts were not disappointed when the locomotive showed up at the Ferryhill Railway Heritage Trust yard.

Despite an ongoing investigation into a low-speed collision last month, the visit went ahead.
