Police have charged a motorist after knocking over a RAF war memorial in Aberdeenshire.
The monument on the A98 at Boyndie, between Portsoy and Banff, commemorates the men and women who served with the ‘Banff Strike Wing’ during the Second World War.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident after allegedly drink-driving on Sunday.
He is expected to appear in court at a later date.
