Police are tonight investigating after a car collided with a Highland home.
Emergency services were called to Newton Park, Kirkhill, after the vehicle struck a building at about 5.30pm.
Nobody is said to have been injured during the incident, however police last night confirmed they were investigating the circumstances.
A structural engineer was required to check the damage to the house.
Two fire crews from Inverness and another from Beauly were called to the scene.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “We got the call at 5.30pm and we sent three appliances. A car collided with a house.
“Our crews just assessed the driver of the vehicle and did a risk assessment of the building. The last appliance got back at 8.05pm.”
A police spokesman last night said the investigation was “still on-going”.
