Two typhoon fighter jets flew over Shetland yesterday as part of the RAF Baton Relay celebrating the air force’s centenary.
The specially designed baton is to be flown by the jets to 100 different sites associated with the air force in the space of 100 days.
Bell’s Brae Primary Pupils abandoned classes yesterday to stand in the playground, holding up 10 metre by six metre flags for the pilots to see.
Video was captured by Haldane Williamson.
