A motorcyclist was caught by police travelling at 125mph on the A82 in the Highlands, officers have revealed.
The 58-year-old male rider was one of three men caught on the same stretch of road at Rannoch Mor, Glencoe.
A 47-year-old male motorcyclist was also detected driving at 99mph and another 27-year-old man was caught driving at 88mph.
The vehicles were believed to be taking part in an organised rally.
Road policing sergeant Gus Murray said: “Speeding or inappropriate speed is a contributory factor in many serious and fatal road traffic collisions.
“All drivers and riders must be aware that speed limits vary according to the road and type of vehicle they are driving and they have a responsibility to ensure that they are well aware of these matters.
“Drivers and riders must comply with the speed limits on the roads and drive at an appropriate speed for road, weather and traffic conditions.
“I would remind all drivers and riders that driving at inappropriate speeds is not a minor, technical offence that everyone commits, but a serious, dangerous and antisocial activity.
“Police Scotland continually operates a robust policy in respect of drivers exceeding the speed limit or driving at an inappropriate speed. “
