A lorry and bus collided on a Highland road.
Emergency services were alerted to an incident on the A835 Conon Bridge to Ullapool road at around 3.55pm.
The crash, which involved a lorry and a Lochs Motors Transport Ltd coach, took place near Contin.
Images from the scene show the windscreen of the coach was severely damaged, while a small section of the lorry’s trailer has been ripped off.
The bus driver suffered minor injuries and was treated by ambulance crews at the scene.
A835 closed for several hours
The A835 road was closed in both directions from Loch Achilty turn off to Garve Village for a period of time, with traffic building up in both directions.
Customers of the CalMac’s Stornoway to Ullapool service were also advised to use an alternative route if driving.
