Police Scotland has urged football fans heading to the Highlands this weekend for the Ross County v Celtic fixture in Dingwall to act responsibly.
Thousands of supporters are expected to travel to the match, which kicks off at 12.30pm on Saturday at the Global Energy Stadium.
Supporters are urged to enjoy their day but to do so responsibly to make sure everyone has a good time.
They are also being urged to plan their travel in advance, with a combination of the match and an event at Dingwall Auction Mart meaning roads will be busy around the ground.
Match commander Chief Inspector Colin Gough said: “We are looking forward to welcoming supporters of both teams to Dingwall for the match and we hope everyone has safe and enjoyable day.
“Our officers will be in attendance to offer assistance to anyone who needs it.
“While we hope everyone enjoys themselves and the overwhelming majority will behave responsibly, it should go without saying that any disorder or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
“I also want to remind fans that they should not drink alcohol in the street, in the stadium, or when travelling to and from the game. Those who attend the ground drunk will not be permitted entry.”
He added: “I would also urge people to plan ahead to allow time for any potential delays before and after the game.
“People not attending the game should be aware that the streets around Dingwall and public transport will be busier than usual on Saturday.”
David O’Connor, operations manager at Ross County, said: “We expect a capacity crowd for the fixture and all supporters should be aware of safety messages and take instruction from police and stewards before, during and after the match.
“Traffic flow round about the stadium and in the town will be very busy so again plan your travel arrangements and leave plenty time for getting into the stadium which opens at 11.30am.
“There is a large sale at Dingwall Auction Mart on Saturday morning which will potentially create congestion. There is no parking at the stadium on Saturday.”
He added: “The overwhelming majority of fans come to the match with their friends and family to enjoy the fixture, please support the club and the police in ensuring that you can do so in a safe and secure environment.”
