Oban held its annual charities day with more than 40 organisations from the town setting up a marketplace and parading through the streets.
Organised by Oban Lions, itself a charity which helps with many events in the town every year, the event gave voluntary groups the opportunity to raise cash for their own causes.
Nicola Wilson, who organised the bash, said the day had been a huge success.
Miss Wilson said: “It always really surprises me that it comes together so well.
“This is such a good day for people to see what is going on in the town.
“I have always loved it, so it is great to see so many people getting along and enjoying it.
“We didn’t really see any rain, it threatened to start just as the parade was getting underway – but it stopped. I even managed to get some sunburn.
“I can not thank everyone who came along enough, from all our amazing dancers to the pipe band and so many other people who made the day a huge success yet again.”
She added: “Some of the stalls made upwards of £350 each. In fact some were sold out by 2.30pm and started packing up early. It was a tremendous day and I can’t wait for next year.”
Oban Lions, an international charity, is looking for helpers and new members for the branch.
