A man was airlifted to hospital after suffering a heart attack on a ferry yesterday.
The call was made to the Stornoway Coastguard from the Cal Mac vessel MV Loch Seaforth at around 4pm.
The ferry has been heading from Stornoway to Ullapool and was around 45 minutes from the end of its trip when the incident took place.
The helicopter was then sent to the scene and transported the man to the Western Isles Hospital.
