Turriff residents are being encouraged to shape the future of the Haughs.
Aberdeenshire Council has been awarded £30,000 from Sustran’s Scotland Places for Everyone fund to undertake the concept design phase of an improved access project.
The aim of the scheme is to encourage more walking and cycling journeys in the area.
An online survey has been created to take the place of the drop-in session that was to have taken place until its cancellation as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
The results of the survey will be used to determine the preferred and specific walking and cycling routes.
The closing date for responses is midnight on April 26, with the survey available on the Aberdeenshire Council website.
It should take about 10 minutes to complete.
Formartine Area Manager, Elaine Brown, said: “It is fantastic to see the improved access project move forward to concept design phase.
“I would encourage as many people as possible to complete the online survey. It will provide us with vital feedback.”
