A car burst into flames in Ellon today – causing two others to also go up in smoke.
Fire crews were called to Gordon Place at about 1.40pm.
They found one car on the street well ablaze, with the flames even spreading down the residential street.
Two other cars parked in a driveway also caught fire.
Thick plumes of black smoke could be seen over Ellon.
A police spokesman said: “Officers were called to reports of three vehicles on fire on Gordon Place, Ellon at around 1.40pm on Sunday, 15 May, 2022.
“It is not thought to be suspicious.”
Fire crews could be seen tackling the main blaze before opening up the bonnets to ensure the flames were fully extinguished.
