Stuffed Gallery 2017 is opening at Newave Gallery on Castlegate.
The preview night tonight, Friday 10, will be a chance to meet many of the artists and see their work, ahead of the opening on Monday.
The group exhibition includes artists from all over Scotland and the north-east. Work comes from students, amateurs, emerging and established artists and showcases a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, print and photography.
Newave Gallery holds regular exhibitions throughout the year. This will be the second Stuffed Gallery which has been selected from open call submissions. More than 50 artists have been selected to take part in the exhibition, which is hosted in the Aberdeen gallery situated looking over the historic Castlegate.
At the preview night, three winners will be announced out of the applicants. They will receive prizes from supporters D.E.N.A. Screenprint Ltd, Peacock Visual Arts and Hobby Craft.
Stuffed Gallery 2017 will preview tonight at Newave Gallery, 49 Castle Street in Aberdeen, from 6-8pm. The group show runs from February 11 to March 14, from 10.30am to 5.30pm, Tuesday to Saturday. See www.newave-gallery.co.uk
