An 18-year-old man is to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today following the recovery of heroin valued at approximately £2,000.
The drugs were recovered following intelligence being received relating to a male in the Balnagask Road area of the city on Friday.
PC Emily Reid said: “We will continue to target and disrupt the illegal supply of drugs in our communities.
“This operation has led to a significant amount of drugs being recovered which would have been bound to spread misery and harm in the community.
“We rely on the support of our communities and continue to encourage anyone with information to contact us.”
If you have any information regarding the occupation of drugs you can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
