Plans for a new business development site in the north-east have been submitted.
Fraserburgh firm Portside Quays has applied for permission to create a new business park on land at the town’s South Harbour Road.
The company wants to build offices and business units to provide premises for Scottish White Fish Producers Association.
The 0.8 hectare piece land that the company wants to build upon is owned by Aberdeenshire Council and would include parking spaces for 74 vehicles.
The plans, submitted on the firm’s behalf by Aberdeen-based Mackie Ramsay Taylor Architects say access to the site would be from a new junction.
If approved this could be the first phase of the project with a second phase potentially including two drive-throughs, a retail unit, and additional units for other businesses.
Supporting documents said: “Portside Quays propose an office led development adjacent in the south eastern area of Fraserburgh.
“The development will consist of four buildings in the northern section of the site which will form phase one of a potentially larger development.
“Phase one will consist of an office block in the southern area of the site, two business blocks in the eastern part of the site and a new office building for the relocation of the Scottish White Fish Producers Association in the northern section of the site.”
The proposals will go before Aberdeenshire Council planners in the coming weeks.
