A major Aberdeenshire road was closed for nearly three hours due to a two-car crash near Inverurie.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm, north of the town.
The A96 Aberdeen to Huntly road was closed in both directions at Milton of Inveramsay as officers dealt with the collision.
Ambulance crews also attended, however, there is no information whether anybody has been hurt at this time.
The road reopened to traffic at about 5.35pm.
A police spokesman said: “We were called around 2.40pm on Friday, February 24, to a report of a two-car crash on the A96 north of Inverurie.
“Emergency services attended and the road was closed. It reopened at about 5.35pm.”
