A woman is being treated by paramedics this morning after being cut free from her car following a four-vehicle crash on the A90.
Police Scotland confirmed they were called to the scene near Portlethen shortly before 7am.
The vehicles involved were a blue Fiat 500, a black Audi A1, a grey Fiat Bravo and a white Mercedes E63.
The woman is understood to have been driving the Fiat 500.
The road is closed northbound following the crash.
A police spokesman said: “Four vehicles were involved. We got the call just at the back on 7am.
“We’ve got a traffic unit on their way. But the outside lane is currently blocked heading north.
“Ambulance are attending.”
