
A woman has been taken to hospital after being knocked down on a major Aberdeen road.
Ambulance and police were told of the incident on the Inverurie Road, near the Bucksburn roundabout, after 1.30pm.
One eyewitness said a woman could be seen receiving medical attention at the scene.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that the woman has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The road was blocked after the collision, but was clear again within an hour.
