Dons supporters will be given the chance to scrutinise plans for a new £40million stadium and training academy on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Residents across the north-east will be able to attend public consultations at the end of the month and early next to have their say on the stadium, community and sports campus and football academy plans for Kingsford, between Kingswells and Westhill.
In May, the Press and Journal revealed the plans for the all-covered, all-seated stadium which would have a capacity similar to Pittodrie.
Club chiefs had previously been in talks with the city council about a site at Loirston in the south of the city.
But it was decided the new scheme, which will be partly funded through the sale of Pittodrie, would make the stadium more accessible to supporters to the north and west of the city.
An Aberdeen Football Club spokesman said: “The consultation events at Westhill, Kingswells and in the city will enable
members of the public to view and comment on the proposals before a planning application is submitted to Aberdeen City
Council later in the year.
“The project aims to deliver essential training facilities, community facilities and a new stadium, which will support the ambitions of the club, its fans and AFC community trust, and provide a focal point for footballing excellence and public participation in sport for the north-east of Scotland.
“The club is committed to a comprehensive programme of public consultation on our proposals, as detailed in the proposal of application notice submitted to Aberdeen City Council on June 27.
“This is a significant project for the club and AFC community trust, the city and the region and it is important that we share our vision for the development and what it will deliver in sporting, social and economic terms with all interested parties.”
Comments in relation to the proposals will be accepted until August 26.
Responses to the consultation will then be considered before a formal planning application for the project is submitted to the local authority later this year.

Consultation events will take place on the following dates: Tuesday, July 26 from 1pm to 8pm at Fourmile House, Old Skene Road, Kingswells.
Friday, July 29 from 1pm to 8pm at Holiday Inn Aberdeen West, Westhill Drive, Westhill.
On Tuesday, August 2 from 1pm to 8pm at Pittodrie Stadium, Pittodrie Street, Aberdeen.
Wednesday, August 3 from noon to 6pm at Trinity Shopping Centre, Union Street, Aberdeen.
Friday, August 5 from noon to 5pm at Central Library, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen.
Monday, August 8 from 2pm to 8pm at Pittodrie Stadium, Pittodrie Street, Aberdeen.
The proposals will also be available to view via the club’s website at www.afc.co.uk/stadium from July 26.
