During the operation around 50 vehicles were pulled into the side of the A9 for checks.
There was one drugs seizure of a small amount of suspected cannabis along with a number of illicit cigarettes.
One person was caught driving outwith licensing conditions, another for tachograph offences.
One vehicle was seized in relation to a driving licence offence.
A number of warnings were issued for minor defects – while four vehicles were declared dangerous and taken off the road.
Constable David Miller said: “We’re denying the criminals the use of the road but it also links in with reducing road fatalities and serious injuries.
“If we are able to see a vehicle that’s not safe to be on the road then that can potentially save a life.
“You never know, it all works hand in hand.”
