The A835 between the Tore roundabout and Conon Bridge has been closed as the result of a “serious accident”. The road is shut between the Tore roundabout and Newton of Ferintosh/Conon Bridge. A Traffic Scotland announcement read: “The A835 is closed between Tore Roundabout and Conon Bridge due to a road traffic incident. “Drivers are advised to find an alternative route and to expect delays.” A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to an incident near Conan Bridge at 11.20am. “We helped to stabilise a vehicle to free a passenger from a vehicle. “We have no reports of casualties at this time. “ Already a subscriber?
