Fire crews battled a house fire this afternoon in a Ross-shire village.
Firefighters from Dingwall attended the fire at a residential property on Golf Course Road, Strathpeffer, after receiving the 999 call at about 2.05pm.
Three crews – one each from Dingwall, Inverness and Beauly – were initially called but only one appliance was required.
A fire service spokesman said that the fire was extinguished by 2.25pm and that crews were using thermal imaging cameras to check for remaining hot spots.
