A walker has been airlifted off Ben Nevis, near Fort William, this afternoon after suffering a fall.
Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) and a Coastguard rescue helicopter were called to the scene.
A spokesman for the Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre said they received a call about the incident at around 2.30pm.
He said: “Rescue 951 from Inverness responded to a call about a fallen walker, who was taken to hospital in Fort William.”
He added that the walker had been on the Zig-Zags and confirmed that Lochaber MRT was called out.
The walker’s condition is not known.
