The A90 road is partially blocked due to a two vehicle collision at the Grainish junction near Cromdale.
The incident involved a Volkswagen Polo and a Mazda 6.
One person has been taken to hospital with an ankle injury.
A police spokeman said: “The two cars collided resulting in minor injuries.
“Local diversions are currently in place.”
