One person has been airlifted to hospital with “serious” injuries following a crash on a Highland road involving two motorcycles.
An air ambulance has taken the injured person to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow, following the incident on the A830 Fort William to Mallaig route, just west of the village of Lochailort.
The incident, the second of its kind on the tourist route in just under a week, took place around 3pm.
Police and ambulance personnel have been in attendance, however, a fire service spokeswoman confirmed they have not received a call to attend.

A police spokeswoman said: “We are still in attendance at an RTC involving two motorcyclists.
“A road closure was put in place at 3.18pm and the roads department have been contacted to clear debris.
“An air ambulance was on scene and one person has been airlifted from the scene to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries.”
It is not yet clear if anybody else has been injured in the collision.
The incident is the second to close the popular tourist route after a 23-year-old man was killed in a horror five-vehicle pile-up.
