An adorable video has been shared by Highland Wildlife Park on social media of a white lip deer rolling in mud to cool down.
The clip, captured by keeper Phoebe Dowens, shows the deer playfully rolling in the mud as the warm weather appears to have got the better of the threatened species.
Temperatures in Kincraig were reported as high as 25 degrees today.
Within the tweet, Highland Wildlife Park said: “It’s not just pigs that enjoy wallowing in mud!

The park is home to polar bears and other great species and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the facility, which is run by Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS), as funds of up £5 million had to be borrowed after lockdown forced the closure of Highland Wildlife Park and Edinburgh Zoo, cutting off RZSS’ income streams.
