Portree lifeboat has been launched this evening to transport medics to Raasay.
A call was received by the Coastguard Operations Centre in Stornoway shortly before 6pm with a patient on the island requiring assistance.
Paramedics were taken on board the RNLI vessel before administering medical care to the patient.
The lifeboat is currently en route back to Portree with the paramedics.
The patient does not require further treatment and has been allowed to stay on Raasay.
