One golfer celebrates as Murcar Links Golf Club reopens thanks to the easing of restrictions.

Restrictions on playing golf in Scotland have been relaxed further after the country moved into Phase 2 of its exit from lockdown.
From today and at the discretion of clubs, golfers can play in groups of up to three players from multiple households providing they adhere to physical distancing rules.
A group of four players can also play providing they can ensure only three households are represented in the group. Competition play within clubs may also resume in accordance with updated guidelines but people are urged to stay within a roughly five-mile radius of their home for recreational purposes.
Meanwhile, England’s Ian Poulter made a superb start to the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head thanks to a seven-under-par 64 to earn a share of the lead among the early starters alongside American Mark Hubbard.
World number one Rory McIlroy opened with a one-over-par 72, having been three over at the turn.
Charley Hull defeated Liz Young in a play-off to win the inaugural event on the Rose Ladies Series at Brockenhurst Golf Club yesterday.
Aberdeen’s Gemma Dryburgh finished tied seventh after a five-over-par 75.
