My weekend with Engage! tutor, Kirsty Robertson

Post Thumbnail

Kirsty Robertson is the APA music development coordinator and an APA Engage music tutor.

When does your weekend start?

Saturday afternoon once I’ve finished teaching the Engage music classes.

Perfect night in?

Pizza and Netflix.

Perfect night out?

I’m always up for going to a gig and hearing new bands.

Ideal weekend partner?

My mum.
Favourite weekend shopping destination? My home town of Glasgow.

Favourite place to walk?

I’m fairly new to Aberdeen so having a walk along the beach is a still a complete novelty and I love it. Especially in summer when an ice cream is often involved.

Weekend you’d love to live again?

Myself and 15 friends a couple of years ago hired two caravans in St Andrews and spent the weekend barbecuing, swimming in the sea and playing rounders on the beach.

Weekend you’d hate to live again?

Working full-time on a Saturday and Sunday and trying to squeeze performing in three concerts in between.

Perfect Sunday breakfast?

Eggs Benedict and a good pot of tea.

Your cure for the Sunday blues?

A trip to the cinema with friends.

Your dream weekend (if money was no object)?

Paris maybe? Or Prague. I also love Amsterdam. Can I only go for the weekend?
