A north-east road has been closed while emergency services deal with a one-vehicle accident.
The alarm was raised at 8.30am and emergency services headed to the scene on the A97, five miles east of Huntly.
A police spokeswoman said a car has left the road and overturned and fire crews are also attending.
A fire spokesman said it is understood the car has collided with a telegraph pole and crews are using stabilising equipment, hydraulics cutting equipment and a winch to release a person from the car.
