Stagecoach Bluebird has released the timetable for its free Christmas night bus service around Aberdeen.
Running for the first time since before the Covid pandemic, the night buses will be operating each Friday and Saturday night in the lead up to Christmas.
It is hoped that the buses will provide a way for people to enjoy the festivities safely with a guaranteed way home.
During recent months, there have been widespread reports of long waiting times at Aberdeen taxi ranks due to a shortage of drivers.
Funding for the buses has been provided by Aberdeen Inspired and Aberdeen City Council.
Bosses have said they hope the service helps restore Aberdeen’s night-time economy.
Where and when will the buses be running?
Passengers will be able to travel to Aberdeen city centre from Westhill, Inverurie, Stonehaven and Ellon for free.
The Stagecoach Bluebird will run buses on the following dates:
- Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3.
- Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10.
- Friday, December 16 and Saturday, December 17.
