City drainage work rescheduled

The works are expected to take up to ten working days to complete and will be carried out between 7am and 7pm each day

Essential drainage work is to be carried out on a stretch of the A9 between the Longman roundabout and the Raigmore interchange in Inverness in October.

Bear Scotland, on behalf of roads agency Transport Scotland, has rescheduled the start of the project due to circumstances outwith its control.

The drainage works is now planned for October 3 until October 8. The work will be done between 7pm and 7am on those dates.
