Search continues as two Inverness teenagers go missing

Police in Inverness are appealing for information following the disappearance of two teenagers from the city.

UPDATE: Missing Jade McConnachie and Daniel Krogulec have been traced safe and well.

A police statement confirmed the two 14-year-olds were located last night.

“We can confirm that Jade McConnachie and Daniel Krogulec, both 14, who had been reported missing from Inverness have been traced safe and well. Thanks to all who shared our previous appeal for your help.”


Jade McConnachie and Daniel Krogulec were reported missing in Inverness on Tuesday.

It is believed the two 14-year-olds are together and were subsequently seen in the Kinmylies area of the city about 7pm last night.

A police statement has described Jade as “5ft 4in in height, of slim build, fair complexion with shoulder-length brown hair which may be tied back.

“She is thought to be wearing a burgundy coloured hooded jumper and jeans.”

It continues: “Daniel is described as 5ft 7in in height, medium build, olive\white complexion with brown eye and has short black hair with a longer fringe.

He is thought to be wearing a Grey ‘Armani’ hooded jacket, black skinny jeans and black trainers.”

Both youths are from Inverness and speak with local accents.
