It’s the day after the night before and after a toughly contested battle, the Dons will now go into the second leg of their crucial Euro tie with an away goal against them.

Police have made a string of arrests on Slovenian football fans who visited Aberdeen for a European football clash.

It is understood a fight broke out in the early hours of the morning between rival supporters.

Officers swooped in on Aberdeen’s Holiday Inn, on Chapel Street, this morning to detain a group of individuals for alleged violence.
