Hillwalker dies in accident in Highlands

A hillwalker has died while out in the Glen Coe area, police have confirmed. The incident took place near Clachaig Inn at 1.19pm yesterday. The man is yet to be formally identified. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.


Man who died in Glen Coe was from Aberdeen

Police have confirmed a man who died walking in Glen Coe at the weekend was from Aberdeen. Emergency services were called at 11.40am on Saturday following reports that a 44-year-old had fallen from the Aonach Eagach Ridge. The man is still to be officially named. More to follow.
