Bancon Homes has launched its latest development, Oaklands, in Banchory, and is already reporting strong interest which underlines the firm’s view that the market is holding up in the current climate.
The development of 40 properties includes a range of three-bedroom semi-detached homes as well as three and four-bedroom detached properties.
Shona Davidson, sales manager at Bancon Homes, said: “Oaklands is an exciting new development close to the centre of Banchory, comprising our latest range of house types which we consider to be very modern and attractive.
“We have already had considerable interest from potential homeowners across the range of homes, from families looking to move to a larger home through to first-time buyers and even downsizers.”
The independent builder says there’s been a huge amount of interest in the development while the first sale was made ahead of the official launch.
“The Banchory market is well established and there has been ongoing demand, as seen at our Ambleside development in May last year, which sold out in a couple of weeks,” said Ms Davidson.
Hill of Banchory Primary School is within walking distance of the development. Banchory Academy – one of Scotland’s top performing schools – is the secondary school in the town. Phase one of the development offers buyers the choice of four contemporary house styles, which are new to the north-east, offering high-specification, energy-efficient homes to suit every lifestyle.
Each of the house types features designer kitchens, oak veneer fitted wardrobes, the latest eco-friendly and cost-saving Biomass district heating system, landscaped gardens and a high-quality finish. Prices at Oaklands start at £287,500. The first homes are expected to be ready before Christmas 2016.
The sales office at the development is open from 11am to 5pm, Thursday to Monday. Contact: Katie Welsh on 01330 827314
