The Oldmeldrum Games welcomed competitors for the first time since 2019, to battle it out in traditional Highland events.
The event which took place on Saturday, was a welcome return to form for the games, with events such as the caber toss, tug o’war, Highland dancing and piping.
These represent the historic culture of Scotland and traditions that are very-respected across the north and north-east.
Before Covid forced the Games cancellation, it had been stage continuously for 92 years – bar 1964 due to an outbreak of typhoid.
Competitors took to the grounds decked out in kilts to participate in the shot put and hammer throw events under the warm sun.
