Fire crews were called to an Inverness Tesco today following reports of a bin fire.
Emergency services were alerted after the alarm was raised at the Inshes store at about 1.12am.
A spokeswoman for the fire service explained personnel arrived at the supermarket shortly after 2am.
She added: “They left the scene at about 2.30am. It was a fire in a bin outside the property.”
The extent of the damage isn’t currently known.
In August, the Tesco in Inshes reopened after being evacuated due to a heavy downpour which caused significant damage and flooding.
Tesco has been contacted for comment.
